Ihcene Khalfi

Ihcene Khalfi is a Trainee Solicitor based at our Castle Street, Canterbury office. She is a member of our private client team.

Ihcene is known for her clear, client-friendly approach, ensuring that clients receive straightforward advice in plain English. She takes pride in her responsiveness and commitment to keeping clients fully informed throughout their legal matters.

As part of her training, Ihcene has supported senior fee earners with complex cases that proceed to court. Her experience includes:

• Helping solicitors prepare for trials, mediations, and early neutral evaluations
• Working on cases involving neighbour disputes and adverse possession
• Assisting with inheritance and debt-related cases.

Ihcene has now joined the Private Client team, where she works on drafting Wills, lasting powers of attorney and deeds of variation. She also assists our lawyers with probate and trust matters.

Alongside her work, Ihcene is studying part-time for a master’s in law at BPP Law School., and known with Boys & Maughan for being driven and passionate about her career. Ihcene holds an LLB Law with a year in Data Analytics from the University of Kent.where she graduated in 2023, after which she joined Boys & Maughan through a summer internship. Ihcene subsequently achieved three promotions in one year, including her training contract offer.

Outside of work, Ihcene enjoys exploring East Kent, seeking out new places to eat, visit and socialise. She also has a strong interest in travel, learning new languages and fashion.
