Boys & Maughan - Lexcel accreditation

Lexcel is The Law Society’s legal practice quality mark for client care, compliance and practice management. This accreditation is internationally recognised. It sets the standard for:

  • Client care
  • Risk management
  • Structure and strategy
  • People and information management
  • Financial, file and case management

Membership lasts for three years with an annual maintenance visit at the end of years one and two. A full re-assessment at the end of year three is required for re-accreditation. Meaning that there are regular checks of our firm’s practices and ensuring our ways of working are at the highest standard, allowing us to provide our clients with the best possible experience.

By firms achieving the accreditation, it enables them to hold a Legal Aid contract, allowing even more clients access to legal support.
