Elda Sharku is a Paralegal in the Family team, working closely with Jonathan da Costa. She plays an important supporting role across a broad range of family and civil litigation matters, with a particular focus on financial remedy proceedings.

Elda is regularly involved in the preparation and progression of cases from an early stage through to resolution. Her work includes drafting key legal documents such as witness statements, Form E financial statements, particulars of claim and defences. She also assists with more complex civil litigation matters, including multi track cases under Part 7 of the Civil Procedure Rules.

Alongside her drafting responsibilities, Elda liaises directly with clients on Jonathan’s behalf, helping to keep matters progressing smoothly and ensuring clients remain informed throughout. She frequently attends client meetings and provides ongoing support as cases develop.

Elda also attends court hearings, where she assists counsel and supports case preparation on the day. All of her work is carried out in accordance with supervision requirements, and she is known for her careful, methodical approach and strong attention to detail.

Elda is currently studying the Bar Course part time at BPP University, where she has completed her first year with an overall distinction, focusing on advocacy and civil litigation.

Elda brings a strong academic background to her role, holding a BSc in Biomedical Science from King’s College London and an MSc in Neuroscience from Imperial College London. She later completed the Graduate Diploma in Law at BPP University as part of her transition into legal practice.

Elda combines academic strength with practical experience, contributing to the team’s work with a calm and thorough approach that supports both colleagues and clients.
