Emma Holland is a Paralegal in the Disputes and Litigation department, working closely with George Orton and Joana Daraskeviciute. She assists clients and colleagues across a broad range of civil litigation matters and has particular experience in property litigation and landlord and tenant disputes.

Emma is known for her attention to detail, proactive approach and ability to keep matters progressing smoothly. She works closely with clients throughout the course of a dispute, providing regular updates and practical support while ensuring they remain informed at every stage of the process.

Emma is regularly involved in progressing matters from an early stage through to resolution. Her work includes drafting court proceedings and other legal documents, preparing witness statements, applications, statements of costs, hearing bundles and trial bundles. She also undertakes detailed legal research and assists with negotiations, helping clients explore opportunities to resolve disputes without the need for court proceedings wherever possible.

Emma attends court alongside counsel and supports case preparation at all stages of proceedings. She is trusted by colleagues to think ahead, anticipate the next steps in a matter and ensure that cases are prepared thoroughly and efficiently. Her organised and professional approach helps clients navigate what can often be complex and challenging disputes.

Emma graduated with a Bachelor of Laws degree in 2020 before completing the Legal Practice Course and Master of Laws in Professional Legal Practice at the University of Law. Following the completion of her studies, she gained experience working alongside legal professionals specialising in both family and criminal law before joining Boys & Maughan in 2022.
