Andrea Huckstepp is a Partner and family law Chartered Legal Executive based at our Margate office.

Andrea is an accredited Resolution specialist family lawyer. Resolution is a national organisation of family law professionals who work with families and individuals to resolve issues in a constructive, efficient way.

Andrea has a great deal of experience in her role and her areas of expertise include:

• Financial arrangements arising from divorce and separation – Andrea has a wealth of experience in this area and will help you achieve a positive outcome
• Children disputes – Andrea acts for both mothers and fathers in resolving child arrangements
• Cohabitation agreements – establishing agreements and dealing with when they break down
• Nuptial agreements – advising in relation to both pre and post-nuptial agreements.

Andrea is known for being practical and committed to all her clients whilst maintaining a non-confrontational approach with the aim of resolving matters without the need for court proceedings.  Clients have commented that they find her professional and highly trustworthy, while being kind, understanding and friendly.

Andrea initially joined Boys & Maughan in 1995 and became a legal executive in 1996, qualifying as a fellow of the Chartered Institute of Legal Executives, and remained at our Margate office until 2018. Andrea returned to Boys & Maughan in 2020, having spent two years developing her career as part of the family team at another Kent firm of solicitors.
