Compensation for dental injuries varies greatly depending upon the level of discomfort and whether this causes any difficulty in eating.  As a result of the initial injury a course of treatment is usually required. Chronic tooth pain (Up to £33,400) such as an untreated abscess, causes pain over a number of years and results in deterioration to the condition of the existing teeth. Loss of or damage to the back teeth (£950 - £1,500 per tooth). Loss or serious damage to one front tooth (£1,900 - £3,400) Loss or serious damage to two front teeth (£3,800 - £6,600). Loss or serious damage to several front teeth (£7,600 - £10,000).
