The 2017 edition of independent directory The Legal 500 praised Robert for his property development work when his team was listed on its first ever application to the guide, which is a rare achievement. Boys & Maughan’s submission was subjected to detailed analysis and clients, referees and other firms gave views on Robert and his team. Robert was once again singled out for his expertise in the 2018, 2019 and 2020 editions.

Robert joined Boys & Maughan upon admission in 1984 and became a partner in 1987.

Outside the office Robert is an active golfer, cricketer and squash player.
