Boys & Maughan conveyancer is runner up in top national awards

Boys & Maughan Partner Richard Durrant (pictured centre with television and radio presenter Penny Smith on the far left) has narrowly missed out on being named the leading conveyancing specialist in the country at a prestigious awards ceremony.

Richard was runner up and commended for his conveyancing skills in the Best Individual Conveyancer category of the 2013 Estate Agency of the Year Awards, given in association with The Sunday Times and The Times, on 13 December 2013.

Richard Durrant said: “I am absolutely delighted to receive these accolades from the judges. Our offices at Margate, Birchington, Broadstairs and Ramsgate have been doing a fantastic job dealing with exceptional volumes of work, and it would not have been possible without the combined effort of our whole team.”

In addition to his high levels of completions and positive client feedback over the past year, the judges were impressed by how Richard has led initiatives for estate agents to ensure smoother sale and purchase transactions, with all involved working to a common aim.

Richard continued: “In the last few months we have been 60% busier than the same time last year because of the upturn in the market and various initiatives we have taken. The award is a tribute to everybody at Boys & Maughan and their efforts to ensure that we consistently provide the best possible service.”

Richard’s success follows Boys & Maughan being named the best lawyers for Conveyancing in the South East. We were given the Law Firm Services Gold Award for our outstanding home buying and selling services in September.
