Commercial property solicitor - Margate
We are seeking a commercial property solicitor with more than 5 years PQE with solid commercial property experience from a reputable firm.  You will:

  • Be responsible for running your own transactions day to day, whilst also assisting with the team’s property development caseload
  • Deal in all aspects of commercial property transactions including land acquisitions and disposals, development site acquisitions, funding, business leases of a wide range of premises ranging from retail and restaurant units or to warehouse and industrial buildings and educational establishments and, potentially, the property aspects of company sales and purchases
  • Act for private investors, developers, occupiers, high net worth individuals, retailers, lenders and borrowers, and
  • Be expected to develop and, latterly, grow our commercial client offering.

Boys & Maughan is one of East Kent’s largest and oldest legal practices, with five offices across Thanet and in Canterbury. The role will be based in our main Margate office and we will consider applications from specialists who wish to work on a full or part-time basis.

The role could be particularly well suited to somebody who wishes to relocate to the east Kent coast. Our office in Margate is on the edge of the revitalised Old Town and a couple of minutes’ walk from the Turner Contemporary and spectacular beach. We are seeking a matrimonial lawyer with expertise in financial remedy matters to join our busy and highly regarded Family department. 

The successful candidate will manage a full privately funded caseload and applications are welcome from solicitors and chartered legal executives.
