Boys & Maughan conveyancers named among top 10 in the country

Kent solicitors Boys & Maughan has been shortlisted in the prestigious Law Society Excellence Awards. Our firm, which has offices across Thanet and in Canterbury, is one of 10 finalists in the 2014 CQS Award for Excellence in Conveyancing Practice.

Boys & Maughan is the only firm in the county to make the shortlist for the property buying and selling award, which is reserved for outstanding practitioners in England & Wales that can demonstrate the strongest commitment to the values of the Conveyancing Quality Scheme (CQS).

Peter Rodd, Senior Partner at Boys & Maughan said: “We are thrilled that our achievements have been recognised in this way. It is a huge achievement to make the final, considering the calibre and volume of firms we were up against. Everyone in our conveyancing department works extremely hard to keep us ahead of the competition and truly stand out from the crowd.”

Peter continued: “In shortlisting Boys & Maughan the judges recognised the quality of the service we are providing and how we build long lasting relationships with clients and estate agents by being continually alert to their personal expectations. Our work volumes are at their highest for seven years and well in excess of what could reasonably be attributed to the property boom.”

We will learn whether we have been crowned the top firm in the country at an awards ceremony in London on 9 October 2014.

Our firm is currently also a finalist in the 2014 Law Firm Services Conveyancing Awards, which named us as the best firm in the South East last year.
