Robert Bagley LL.B.
Consultant - Non Practising
Robert trained in London and was admitted as a solicitor in 1976, joining Boys & Maughan as a Partner in 2003. He was solicitor to the Kent Community Housing Trust and Clerk and Solicitor to the Governors of the King’s School, Canterbury.
In his time, Robert has been a District Councillor, a CAB Chairman, a grammar school Governor and Assistant Deputy Coroner. Previously he practised for many years in Canterbury and was Senior Partner of his firm.
As a Ramsgate commercial solicitor Robert’s specialisms lay in the property and charity fields, where he had more than 35 years experience handling a wide spectrum of matters including:
· Commercial and institutional property work.
· High value freehold and leasehold sales and purchases.
· Sales and purchases of businesses as going concerns.
· Wills.
Not wishing to lose the experience and knowledge gained in more than 40 years, upon his retirement in 2011, we retained Robert as a non-practising consultant within the firm.
Outside of the office Robert is a keen fly fisherman and enjoys domestic life in the village where he has lived for many years.
"This was a complicated case and Mr Bagley certainly worked hard to reach a satisfactory conclusion."
