Colin joined Boys & Maughan in 1969 and became a partner upon his admission as a solicitor in 1974. Not wishing to lose the experience and knowledge gained in more than 40 years, upon his retirement in 2011, Colin was retained as a consultant within the firm.

As an experienced Margate solicitor his specialisms lie in the Private Client field, especially:

• Wills, trusts and probate.
• Lasting Powers of Attorney.
• High value Freehold and Leasehold sales and purchases.
• Sales and purchases of land by developers and builders.

He is a Trustee of the Michael Yoakley Charity where, amongst other duties, he advises the Charity on various legal issues.

Perhaps now that he has semi-retired, Colin will be able to spend a little more time on the golf course.
