Allen was admitted as a solicitor in 1975 and joined Boys & Maughan in 1982, becoming a partner in 1984.

As a long-standing Birchington solicitor his specialisms lie in the Private Client field, where he has over 35 years experience, especially in:

• High value Freehold and Leasehold sales and purchases.
• Sales and purchases of land by developers and builders.
• Wills, trusts and probate.
• Lasting Powers of Attorney.

Outside of the office Allen remains an enthusiastic hockey player albeit now performing at "Vets" level for Cliftonville HC.  He is also a committed Rotarian taking part in all the activities of the Westgate & Birchington Club in the local community.
