Private Client Solicitor

Boys & Maughan Thanet's largest and oldest legal practice, with offices in the coastal towns of Margate, Birchington, Broadstairs and Ramsgate employ over 65 people, in a variety of roles, all of whom are integral to our delivering the highest levels of client care and satisfaction across all facets of the firm. We hold accreditation from both Lexcel and Investors in People.
 
Private Client Solicitor
 
We require a Private Client Solicitor to handle and develop a mixed caseload of trust, tax and probate work and to assist in supervising an established team. This is a role for someone looking to progress their career, with prospects of leading the department within a short period of time and Partnership potential for the right candidate. Specialist accreditations such as STEP and SFE are advantageous.
 
Enthusiasm for business development and excellent technical skills in the following areas are a must:
 
Probate and Administration of Estates
Estate Accounts
Wills
Deeds of Variation
Deeds of Gift
Tax Planning within wills and post death variations
Inheritance Tax planning advice
Lasting Powers of Attorney including registration
Trust Administration
Liaising with Financial Services Department
Applications to the Office of the Public Guardian, general management & annual accounts
 

Based in Margate, this is an excellent opportunity for the right candidate to join a Lexcel accredited law firm.
