Notarisation

If you have to sign a document which is going to be used overseas you are likely to be asked to have your signature notarised by a Notary Public.

Some countries particularly in Europe, will also require the addition of an "apostille", whilst countries further afield may require full "legalisation".  Other countries may also require notarised copies of your passport or other personal documentation.

We can arrange all of these matters for you including any additional legalisation which may be required.

It is worth knowing that whilst most Notaries are Solicitors, very few Solicitors are Notaries.

Please feel free to contact us with any questions that you may have about Notarisation.
