Resolution Accredited Specialist Status Extended For Five More Years

We are delighted to announce that Jonathan da Costa, the Head of our Family Department, has had his Resolution Accredited Specialist status extended for a further five years.

Resolution is an organisation of 5,000 lawyers and family justice professionals who believe in a constructive and non confrontational approach to family law. The accreditation scheme recognises the skills of experienced family lawyers who demonstrate a high level of ability in family law, including specialist knowledge of two or more specific family law areas.

Jonathan, along with Angela Turnbull is one of the few accredited specialists in the area - in fact Boys & Maughan are the only legal practice in East Kent with two Resolution accredited specialists.

When family problems are the issue the most important consideration is that the chosen lawyer has the right approach. All members of Resolution encourage everyone to agree that family disputes are not contests in which there are winners and losers, but searches for fair solutions.

Resolution accredits specialist family lawyers who have a proven track record (and at least 5 years experience) and a specialism in particular areas of family law. The accreditation process is rigorous in order to maintain the high standards which Resolution believes the public should expect.
